Develop Individual Leadership Training Plans
The assessments have been just “nice to know” informational
corporate process unless the information is taken and applied
to a leadership developmental plan. This should be done in
conjunction with the participant’s immediate supervisor and
should consider each person’s personal overall career
development goals, any applicable succession planning system,
and hopefully be incorporated into the performance appraisal
system. It is our recommendation that as soon as the
interpretation has been completed, a realistic (7-10 days)
time frame be established to complete their personal plan and
arrange a time to share it with their immediate supervisor.
The agreed upon plan is then forwarded to human resources so
the needs and desires of all assessment participants can be
incorporated into an overall leadership training plan.
