This is it – our
most acclaimed and respected program – and for good
reason. MAP is a proven tool for pinpointing
and charting the competencies of a
manager/leader/coach. It enables managers to
objectively identify their managerial strengths and
weaknesses and compare them to company and industry
norms. Managers can then chart the best course to
improve their capabilities and be able to measure
their progress.
MAP is a video-driven, competency-based,
computer-scored simulation that assesses a manager’s
proficiency on twelve core competencies, two
management styles, and eight values/drives.

MAP is a one day
program broken out into two ˝ day segments
Morning: Assessment
Participants interact with video as they go through
twelve episodes with a department head, his four
supervisors, and their employees.
Afternoon: Interpretation
Participants receive their profiles and learn to
interpret the scores on their competencies, styles,
and values.
Planning
Participants prepare an Individual Development Plan,
or IDP, to be shared with their managers and
implemented during the coming year.
MAP can to facilitated by certified in-house
personnel. It also provides for the establishment of
an in-depth database for tracking individual
improvement
Each MAP participant receives a Proficiency
Profile with two sets of results: their own and the
composite showing their group’s performance. This
provides data for their individual Development Plan.
As your database builds, you can generate a
Proficiency Profile showing the performance norms for
your organization or any part of it: departments –
divisions - locations. |
