Corporate Development
Placing the right candidate in the right role requires determining the specific behavioral attributes needed by an employee holding that position. While ability tests help to determine whether candidates possess the skills needed so that they can perform a task, Behavioral Style Questionnaires provide insight into whether candidates have the motivational and behavioral characteristics that determine if they will perform the task.

OPQ

The OPQ assesses 31 behavioral dimensions, or preferred work styles, that affect an individual’s on-the-job performance. It is typically utilized in assessing managerial and professional candidates, but can also be used with supervisory and senior-level sales staff. In particular, the OPQ generates information on an individuals team type (how the person is likely to operate within a peer work group); leadership and subordinate style (highlighting a manager’s preferred style of managing others, and the style of management to which subordinates are most likely to respond); and selling/influencing style (identifying the range of selling styles a person is most likely to adopt and, for managers, their style of influencing others). Overall, the OPQ presents an extremely comprehsive picture of people’s behavioral tendencies based upon how they respond to statements covering the following dimensions.
